Our solution

Prove that, on that date, you complied with the law.

In a dispute or an inspection, the question is not whether you comply today, but whether you complied at the time of the facts, under the rules then in force. Probatis answers that question with a 7-step process that combines artificial intelligence, validation by a pool of experts and the anchoring of every step on the blockchain.

  • AI-assisted analysis
  • Human expert decisions
  • Proof anchored on the blockchain

Certified file: human review and chain of custody of the evidence. Illustration, fictitious data.
The stakes

Complying is not enough. You must be able to prove it, years later.

A lawsuit, a complaint or a regulator’s inspection often comes long after the facts. Meanwhile, the rules have changed and the evidence has scattered.

The law moves

MiCA, DORA, the Transfer of Funds Regulation (TFR), the AI Act: requirements evolve, with transitional periods and successive guidelines. You need to know which text applied, and in which version.

Evidence erodes

E-mails, edited files, overwritten versions: without traceability, a document produced after the fact is easy to challenge.

Decisions must be reasoned

A regulator or a judge expects reasoning: which requirement, which evidence, who decided, and why.

Technology must stay verifiable

A counterparty or a court expert must be able to check the integrity of the evidence themselves, without relying on your word or ours.

Three combined strengths

AI speeds things up, experts decide, the blockchain freezes the proof.

Each component does what it does best, and none of them decides alone.

Artificial intelligence

It pre-checks every document: it verifies that it is complete and consistent with the targeted requirement, and flags points of attention with the reference of the relevant text. It also helps compare written commitments with the actual behaviour of the code.

Its limit: it flags, it never concludes. Its output is indicative and is not legal advice. Every analysis is logged (documents analysed, model version, result).

Pool of experts

A technical auditor and an independent expert review the results and rule on the technical controls. Legal questions are examined by OMK Conseil, legal counsel, or another partner lawyer, who gives an opinion under their own liability. A joint committee then awards the certification level.

Why it matters: the decision stays human, as the EU AI Act requires, and certification rests on an independent third party.

Blockchain anchoring

The key moments of the file (opening, close of the vote, certification) and the digital fingerprint of each document are recorded on a public blockchain, with their date.

What it guarantees: any later change to a document or a decision becomes detectable, and the date can no longer be disputed.

The process

Seven steps, from a snapshot of the law to continuous monitoring

Every step leaves a trace. Steps 3, 5 and 6 are sealed on the blockchain.

  1. 1
    AIExperts

Scoping and a snapshot of the applicable law

We define the scope (activity, assets, flows, jurisdictions) and the target certification level, from A to D. Our Monitoring tool identifies the rules in force on that date, in their applicable version: MiCA, DORA, TFR, GDPR, anti-money-laundering rules, Belgian, Luxembourg and French law.

    Trace produced Dated regulatory matrix

  2. 2
    ExpertsFingerprints

    Collecting evidence, control by control

For each control, a document template states exactly which evidence is expected. You upload it to your space; each document receives a unique digital fingerprint (SHA-256) that will later prove it has not been altered.

Trace produced Evidence manifest with fingerprints

  3. 3
    Blockchain

    Sealed opening of the file

The official start of the assessment is anchored on the blockchain: date, scope, target level and version of the legal referential used. Nobody can later claim the assessment was based on different rules.

    Trace produced Time-stamped “opening” anchor

  4. 4
    AI

    AI pre-check of every document

The AI checks that each document covers the targeted requirement and sums it up as complete, points of attention or incomplete, with the reference of the relevant text. This result is indicative and is not legal advice. For smart contracts, it helps compare contractual clauses with the code, to spot gaps between what is promised and what is actually programmed.

Trace produced Pre-check result logged per control

  5. 5
    ExpertsBlockchain

Validation by the pool of experts

The experts review each result, ask for additional evidence where needed and rule on the controls of the 7 protocols (scoping, technical, legal, governance, score, insurability, follow-up). The legal protocol is led by the partner legal counsel, who gives an opinion under their own liability. A committee then votes on the certification level; the close of the vote is irreversible and anchored on the blockchain.

Trace produced Time-stamped decisions + “vote closed” anchor

  6. 6
    BlockchainExperts

    Certification and verifiable reports

Finalisation is anchored. You receive a public certificate with a QR code, a technical report verifiable online and a report written to be read by a regulator, an insurer or a judge.

Trace produced Certificate + reports + “finalisation” anchor

  7. 7
    AIExpertsBlockchain

    Continuous monitoring and renewal

Transactions and wallets are monitored continuously, with alerts. When a rule changes, our Monitoring tool detects it and the affected controls are reassessed. Significant events are anchored, and the annual renewal only re-examines what has changed.

Trace produced Monitoring log + dated compliance history

The solution in pictures

One console to follow every file, from the document to the certificate

The screens below illustrate the three main views of the Probatis platform.

Interface illustrations. Institutions and data shown are fictitious.

Two reports, two readers

Verifiable by an engineer. Readable by a regulator.

The same proof, presented in two complementary forms.

Technical report, verifiable online

  • Public verification page, reachable by QR code or attestation number.
  • References of the anchoring transactions: anyone can check them on the blockchain.
  • Digital fingerprints of the documents: recompute a document’s fingerprint to prove it is identical to the original.

For: counterparties, auditors, court experts.

Report readable by regulators

  • Written in plain language, structured requirement by requirement.
  • For each requirement: the text applicable on that date, the evidence provided and the reasoned decision.
  • Identity and role of the experts who decided, with dates.
  • Full chain of custody, from submission to certification.

For: supervisory authorities, insurers, lawyers and judges.

What the proof covers, and what it does not. Anchoring proves that a document or a decision existed in that form on that date, and that it has not been altered since. It does not make an inaccurate document accurate. Probatis certification is not a MiCA authorisation, which remains granted by the competent authority. Solid Benelux SRL supports compliance implementation and does not provide legal advice: legal opinions are given by OMK Conseil, legal counsel, or by other independent partner lawyers, under their own professional liability.
